Howard University
Howard Theatre
This revitalized full sized theatre, built for Black audiences and entertainers once launched the careers of Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald, Marvin Gaye, the Supremes and many others. Older than the Apollo Theatre (New York) the Howard theatre went through a multi-million- dollar renovation in 2012 to restore it to its’ former glory.

African American Methodist Episcopal Church
This AME Church has also been called the National Cathedral of African Methodism and serves as a beacon of light to the oppressed for countless years. This church is the home to beautiful Gospel music and offers a message of Liberation.
